| One of the acquisitions N&W made when it acquired the NKP was the Pennsy line from Columbus to Sandusky OH. This not only gave them a Lake Erie port, but also connected operations on the N&W proper to the newly acquired Nickel Plate at Bellevue. Here we see a Bellevue bound train behind a mix of BNSF and NS units. |
