| American Freedom Train Exhibition Car 41 at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois on July 28, 1975, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. As far as I can tell, this was a replica Lunar Rover. Four working rovers were built, three are still on the Moon, unless space aliens car-jacked (rover-jacked?) them. The fourth rover was for spare parts. Several replicas were made for display at various space agencies, this particular replica was on loan from the Smithsonian and is currently on display at Epcot Center. |
