| Union Pacific's Provo Switcher crosses Pleasant Grove's Mainstreet on the UP Provo Industrial Lead,This line was once Union Pacific's Provo-Salt Lake City Mainline prior to 1985. In November of that year,Union Pacific gained trackage rights on the Rio Grande Mainline to the west and moved all it's Provo-Salt Lake City Traffic. However the line was used for occassional detours until the early 1990's when the Rio Grande would close it's own mainline for work windows. |
