Odd Bedfellows  Contributor's Pick!
On my way (in the 1853) back to the depot, I rolled by the odd set of motive power just outside the shop. Probably 2 more minutes and the shadows would have taken over the trucks! Now, the WPRR 101 and 102 swapped numbers last month, so WPRR 101:1 became WPRR 102:2 and WPRR 102:1 became WPRR 101:2. I know it had something to do with being mated to the 3001 and 3002, but why not just change the consist, instead of going through all the trouble to renumber a locomotive?? In the background you can see our old P&S SW1200, which is supposed to be getting a new truck, while the 1501 is supposed to be getting new wheels.
