| The most recent addition to the GWI lines, The Columbus and Chattahoochee, is represented here in the form of a former BN SD40-2. The C&C will soon begin operating over former CofG/NS trackage between Columbus GA and Mahrt AL. This unit recently received it's orange and black paint scheme at the nearby CIRR shops at Cedar Springs GA. Apparently the HAL RR is using it between Hilton and Albany to work out any bugs that may crop up before sending it to Columbus. |
