Annie Local Headed West Editors Pick! Contributor's Pick!
A classic northwest 'sunbreak' bathes BNSF's Anacortes Local as it heads west out of Burlington on an otherwise rainy day. While a trio of four-axle units is not unusual on this run, today's consist of GP40X 3034, GP60B 336 and GP40M 3009 certainly is. The Anacortes Local typically operates six days a week from Mt Vernon/Burlington out to the refinery complex at March's Point, serving industries along the way.
