Atlanta Rails General Of course you would get one of these.......I'd say this is better than a BCOL Cowl. 3/7/2012 4:33:10 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Yep, Seeing one of these former NdeM/TFM SD40's leading even a local surprised me, I agree, I'd rather see this than BCOL, but I'm greedy, I like both, funny how this catch happened, in process of chasing M- SHNS with a Belle ES44 leading a pair of FXE ES44's ran across the local at Edwards, but light wasn't good yet for westbounds, had to chase it back to Vicksburg where the line dips south through town, only place to shoot it with good light, hoped it was a road train so the chase could continue into Louisiana, but terminated in Vicksburg & turned back to Jackson, at least I got a shot anyway 3/7/2012 4:49:23 PM

Fred Stuckmann General I don't often see even pictures of one of these, great catch & shot. 3/8/2012 1:07:59 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Fred, it's been a while since I've seen these myself, back in the mid 2000's I saw & shot plenty of the former NdeM/TFM SD40's, then when all the KCS Widecabs started being released many were sold, stored, scrapped or whatever, maybe even went to Mexico, I'd like to see more of them come back, but highly unlikely with all the Widecabs KCS have now 3/8/2012 1:19:19 PM
