Man is it lonely out here
This Cimmarron Valley train is headed for the interchange with the BNSF here in the lonely stretches of far western Oklahoma. This is ex ATSF track known on the CVRR as the West CV Sub. Connects to the rest of the CVRR at Satanta Jct in Ks. This section is 100 miles in lenghth and has a speed restiction of 10mph the entire distance. What a day that could be.

mikey cruz General That's rough. SGLR down here is about the same length and 10 mph most of the way too. 2/19/2012 12:39:04 PM
David Stewart General good catch on that unit! never got a train on them here at Boise City, though I would see grain cars parked there on the line sometimes 2/19/2012 2:55:12 PM
Switchman Images General Sure this isn't Boise City, OK or something? 4/6/2012 11:12:56 PM
David Stevenson General I work for Santa Fe on the Locals out of Satanta to Boise City. Left Boise City on July 18, 1983 we was wizing along at 20mph. Rock to the left and roll to the right. All at night, it was hard watching the sun come up on my 30th birthday in western OK. 5/24/2014 3:12:54 PM
David Stevenson General Oh yea, the old timers told me the earth is flat and drops off 3 miles west of Boise City. 5/24/2014 3:14:09 PM
