| This was SAL's Charleston Sub, basically running parallel with ACL's Charleston Sub. Mother nature has done a good job reclaiming what was hers, but it is still easy to see where the Seaboard used to slice through this area. Just to the left, you can make out the former southbound home signal base, and also, you can barely make out a connection that ran in the NW quaderant of the diamond between the old C&WC and SAL lines. Why this would have existed is beyond me since there was also one that was in the SW quad. |
