CAGY SW1 #525 was built September 1941 as Elgin, Joliet & Eastern (EJE) #240. Later became Fernwood, Columbia & Gulf #600 and Illinois Central Gulf #622 when FC&G was absorbed by ICG. Unit was acquired by CAGY after ICG divested the property. After leaving CAGY, #525 became Vulcan Materials (VMMX) #4545
