CP developed some good stack traffic to Oak Island and Philadelphia in the 1990s, and carried it into the new millenium. Here we see train 164 rolling south through New Milford PA on the former Lackawanna behind CPs ubiquitous(even at this date) SD40-2s

Tom Beckett General There was not a junk yard there that I can recall, going back to 1988. There may have been at one time, but I think mostly it was just open land that happened to get a lot of junk left on it over the years. 2/11/2012 11:22:35 AM
