On each side of the front steps, Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas are dismounting from Santa's Train (inbound Wadley Turn, train #587)
For his final Santa Train, engineer John Douglas timed the run to coincide with his retirement. In later years, John Kierbow (in light brown jacket) would bear a striking resemblence to Santa at the controls of the Santa Train
