A54 Northbound  Contributor's Pick!
Coming thru Gadsden on the AG branch, which is a remnant of the long-gone Southern line from Attalla to Rome, Georgia. This section survived to reach Gadsden from the AGS North main, and extends almost to the Coosa River at the former junction with the also abandoned Tennessee, Alabama & Georgia Railway. He's about to make a reverse move up the track in the foreground and deliver interchange cars to Siskin Yard for the ATN to pick up. Siskin Yard was once used to service the now-closed Gulf States Steel Plant in Gadsden. Canon EOS-3, Ektachrome E100VS.
