| LS&I engine # 3001 sits covered in snow on a dealine while LS&I engine # 3053 waits its turn in the shops during the winter when the shipping season is closed LS&I does not operate so they do most of there work on there engines during the winter (note the section of the long hood from a LS&I U30C sitting in the snow in frount of LS&I engine # 3001) |
