| During the Broome County Fair, NYSW ran trips from Whitney point up to the county line near Killawog. During one of these trips for the 1992 fair, a 1936 Buick pulled up to the NY 79 crossing in Lisle just as the train approached. The driver was actually paying attention, and unlike most motorists who go rolling right into your photo in a battered Ford, stopped before getting into the picture. Seeing the chance for an unusual shot, I waved him into the picture for a classic scene. |
