First passenger train on the Providence and Worcester since the road regained its independence! Seen at the Valley Falls office with its old hand crank gates. The crossing then a stop and protect crossing. Boston and Maine Budd cars 6120, 6924, 6204 and 6129 were chartered by the Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts on Sunday, June 24, 1973. The train was called the Seekonk River Seagull Flyer and operated from Worcester to Boston Switch, then down the East Providence Branch, and back to Worcester
