AMTK 6407
Sixty-four-seat coach 6407 was built in 1946 as New York Central 3060 and was subsequently Penn Central 3614. It was one of 153 NYC cars (3000-3152) built in Pullman-Standard Lot 6721. Over time, all of the cars were renumbered at least once and many of them were remodeled, although the 6407 retained its original configuration. Seventy-seven of these cars went to Amtrak as the 3949-3970, 6094-6098 and 6400-6449. The 6407 was retired in 1977 and became camp car 16759. (approximate month)
