| Fifty-six seat coach 5618 was manufactured by Budd in November 1940 as Seaboard Air Line 6210, and was subsequently Seaboard Coast Line 5618. It was one of seven such cars (6208-6214) built in Lot No. 96512 for service on the expanded SILVER METEOR. These became SCL 5616-5622 and retained the same numbers as Amtrak cars. It was photographed on the northbound PANAMA LIMITED. |
