| This 56-seat coach was built by the Budd Co. in 1947 as New York Central 2923, one of 60 cars (2900-2959) in Lot 9613. This car was renumbered Penn Central 1430 after the Pennsy-NYC merger in 1968, although it obviously retained its NYC lettering, became Amtrak 5635 in 1976, and was retired in 1977.
