| Private car on Bennett Levin's restored PRR passenger train at Pittsburgh's Penn Station. Built in 1948 by the Pullman Company. A placard in a window reads "The Caritas started life as the Pierre LeClede on the Frisco Railroad as 14-roomette, 4-bedroom sleeper. It operated on the Texas special and other famous Frisco trains. It was sold to the CN in 1965 to become the Churchill Falls. where it was used in transcontinental service on the CN and VIA. Retired in 1981, it was purchased by High Iron Travel in 1983 to be transformed into an Art Deco business car. An open platform, kitchen, master room (with its own shower), lounge and dining area were added and the car was completely modernized electrically and mechanically.
