David Woodford General This line was built as the Columbia and Puget Sound from Seattle to the coal mining towns of Black Diamond and Franklin (becoming Pacific Coast when that company bought Black Diamond and the railroad). The Milwaukee connected to the Columbia and Puget Sound/Pacific Coast line when they built their mainline to Maple Valley, running on trackage rights to Renton. The GN bought the line to Black Diamond later. You may be thinking of the NP line that went via Issaquah to North Bend. 3/20/2024 2:41:05 PM
