High Iron Rail Excursions "Southern Explorer" South of Dupo, Illinois         
High Iron Rail Excursions "Southern Explorer" blasting its way south down the Union Pacific Chester Sub, just south of Dupo, Illinois on a beautiful early spring morning. This train is being led by AMTK 184 and AMTK 19. AMTK 184 is one of the Amtrak 40th Anniversary Special Edition locomotives, carrying the Phase IV paint scheme. The JB Bridge, which carries I-255 across the Mississippi River into Missouri is in the background with newly planted corn in the foreground.
