Tom Beckett	General	Nice MU shots. I can never get used to the top headlight on the MU cars. The M-1's and M-3's were delivered without them, and they just look like a patch job. I like that LIRR finally put the car numbers on the ends-makes it much easier to identify them. I never shot a lot of the electrics-always felt they were glorified subway cars-but now, 30 some years later, wish I had more of them. I'm looking at the crossovers there and thinking you're at the west end of Mineola station, unless they put another set of crossovers in between Merillon Av and New Hyde Park. I have not been to that part of the Island in quite a few years, so not up on improvements. Speaking of which, did they ever make any progress on a third track from Floral Park to Hicksville??	11/28/2014 1:09:24 AM
