| In the mid-1970s, the Santa Fe began rebuilding their fleet of GP7s and GP9s with new cabs and low noses, removing the dynamic brakes, air conditioners were added, along with a general rebuilding. GP7u 2074 was built in November 1953 as ATSF 2876, and remanufactured in August 1974. It is seen here on February 24, 1985, in Fullerton, California. |
