CSXT U18B 1891
CSXT U18B 1891 at Brighton Park on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois on December 21, 1987, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 1891 was built in December 1973, (c/n 36410) as SCL 253, later becoming SBD 253 renumbered to SBD 1891, then CSX 1891, and sold to Sequatchie Valley. Too bad I didn't frame the shot better and get the whole Campbell's Soup watertower. Might have a better shot in the reject file. As I recall, this was the last manually-controlled crossing in the city limits of Chicago.
