Built by Budd in 1948 in Lot #9659-021 to Plan #9511 as WP 3DB-1DR sleeper-dome-26 seat club lounge observation #881 SILVER CRESCENT, 1 of 6 such cars built for the CALIFORNIA ZEPHYR (CB&Q ordered a 7th "protection" car in 1952). Sold in 1972 to William Harmsen (Wheatridge, CO), donated in 1981 to GCRM.
