| Still hauling mail in 1968, the New Haven leased a number of Santa Fe RPO's to replace is older mail cars. On this day, ATSF 104 is the second car on New Haven train No. 3, the Murray Hill. This train was the New York to Boston first-class train which carried mail ahead of parlor cars and a diner. |
