| The tower is scheduled to close on June 29th. The work continues. The double track UP has been cut back to the tower itself. The I&M now has a power switch just south of the bridge with the old interchange track relaid with 136lb rail so that UP trains using the I&M between Barr and Ridgely do not have to stop and open the switches at the tower. The interchange track has also ben realigned and now occupies the area south of the diamond where the second track used to sit. |
