Arrived in Lake Placid
Here's my wife Amy and my father on the open air coach shortly after the train's arrival on the third day of our adventure. We had flagged the northbound day train out of Thendara at Nehasane Station, loaded our canoe and camping stuff on the rear-end open air coach, and completed our round trip up to Lake Placid, then back to the car at Thendara.

Matt Giardino General Actually Jerry, this car was built from a PRR P70 in the yards at Thendara in 1979. It is very similar looking to the CP car but the windows are actuallly different. This car surviives today on the Tioga Central in Wellboro PA. 1/30/2014 3:54:53 PM
