ATSF 101 - San Bernardino, CA - 7/4/89
On July 4, 1989, Santa Fe debuted a pair of FP45s in the return of the Warbonnet scheme. With a little imagination, it was easy to image what it was like in 1967 when these handsome engines first arrived in San Bernardino, California, fresh from EMDs La Grange, Illinois, factory. A little judicious framing with the stations ivy covered columns, and the larger lettering on the 1989 version was eliminated from view.
