Ringling 151
This was car 151 on the 1975 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey blue train. It was originally Baltimore & Ohio 10-roomette/6-double-bedroom sleeper 7040 AUGLAISE, built by Pullman-Standard as a Plan 4167 car in Lot 6864, and placed in service on 23 March 1950. It was retired in 1969 and sold to Ringling Brothers. This car had been ordered by the Chesapeake & Ohio in November 1946, but was sold to the B&O in September 1948, before it was built. The car was photographed in the Illinois Central Gulf's Poydras Yard. At that time, the Ringling cars did not wear any reporting mark.
