Doug Wolfe General Nice one William. I really like the yellow paint scheme. 5/2/2010 6:40:26 PM
Alex Vaughn General How many of their GE's had Blomberg trucks under them? 5/3/2010 9:23:01 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Doug, The color is actually orange. These were nicknamed MOW Pumpkins being they were used in Maintenance of Way service & were orange. Several of the U18B'S went to the Pickens Railroad. CSXT uses SD50-2 rebuilds & GP40-2 mother/slug sets for MOW trains today for the most part. 5/3/2010 10:24:35 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Don't know how many GE'S CSXT had with Blomberg trucks under them, but I know U36B'S & U18B'S had them. Of course they have no GE'S that have Blomberg trucks now as all of those have been retired or sold years ago 5/3/2010 10:29:02 AM
