Ted Brumberg General The #9479 was built in 1948 by Pullman-Standard as NYC 22 roomette (22RM) sleeper #10443 THUNDER BAY, 1 of 45 such sleepers (#10400-#10444, all BAY names) built in that Lot to Plan #4122, which was part of a 200 car order placed in December 1945. In 1958-1959, 23 of these 45 sleepers were sold to CN as #2052-#2074 with VAL names, the THUNDER BAY as CN #2067 VALPARAISO. In 1973-1974, CN rebuilt 14 of these 23 cars to baggage-dormitories #9475-#9488, retaining 14 of the roomettes; the #2067 was rebuilt to #9479 in 1973. 11/8/2014 9:08:07 PM
