The train consists of F40's 242 and 204, baggage car 1229, deadheading coach-baggage 31005, dormitory-coach 39954, coach 34100, lounge 33020, diner 38011, sleepers 32043 and 32034, and private car CANNON BALL. During this time, the SUNSET's usual power was a pair of P30CH's; but for some reason, the eastbound train had come east with these two EMD's the previous day; and now they were heading back home to California. |
