| N&W 590372 (boom car) and N&W 514882 (crane) sit in the siding in Welch, WV along with a strong of gondolas. Recent track and tunnel work on the Pokey and Tug Fork Branch have had all sorts of interesting MOW equipment sitting in and around Welch and various parts of the Pokey and its branches. About a foot of snow fell the night before and the crane has not been used today, I could not get a shot of it in action, but it was used the day before in the tunnel near Hemphill. |
