ICG Wreck 6
On 1 April 1975 the Illinois Central Gulf local heading south on the former Gulf Mobile & Ohio main line between Bogalusa and Slidell, Louisiana was diverted into the spur at Florenville and collided with some stored cars. This was a roof-top view of cars that were pushed off of the end of the siding by the force of the collision. The passenger car was IC X2761, formerly 8-section/1-drawing-room/2-compartment Pullman BERTHOUD PASS.
