BNSF 2979 Leading What?!?  Contributor's Pick!
Due to problems with the lead P42DC on Amtrak 8, BNSF loaned a unit to head the train to Chicago. Amazingly enough it was a GP39V whiteface! Boy was it a sight to see, a green GP39V leading a passenger train in 2009!
