Mike Woodruff General Cool! I don't believe I've ever seen a color photo of one of these units. Looks like a couple of switchers four and five deep in the train. 1/20/2010 12:24:58 PM
Jim Satterwhite General Thanks for sharing this historic photo, Chris. How about that Cotton Belt boxcar at the headend of the train? It doesn't get any better... 1/25/2010 6:44:40 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Nice shot 1/25/2010 7:09:55 PM
Gregg Bartley General THat's a lotta wheels... That gondola is pretty heavily loaded. Any restrictions on something like that? I don't know what that load is, but it doesn't seem to be tied down. 1/26/2010 4:06:41 PM
Bernie Feltman General Good photo 1/27/2010 4:20:08 AM
Randy Kotuby General Great to see a Centipede in action. 1/30/2010 9:49:09 AM
Lucas Connor General Great catch. Mr. Bartley, I think those are auto frames, which were often shipped in gondolas equipped with special superstructures to hold the frames. 6/3/2021 10:23:02 PM
