I just learned that the original RSSX #1077 (now RSSX #5077) is being used in Nebraska at a contract. So, this unit, like most others, has not used its previous number (x-MSRC GP10) as a donor. Im curious which unit this was now!!! lol

This is a Railserve LEAF (Lower Emissions And Fuel) genset conversion. Railserve has been rebuilding these from various loco models since 2008. There is more info on these units at http://www.railserveinc.com/leaf.html. They use a single Detroit Diesel DX370M 550hp genset.

Actually, this photo shows it when it was still a GG10B. It's probably been converted tot a LEAF by now, though.
