Ron Moraca General Yeah, Alec, it is. The newer locos have taken over the mainline: the SD70ACe, the ES44AC and DC, the ES40AC/DC, the ACs, Dash 9s, etc. SD40-2s just don't have enough power unless they're strung together in a six pack or more. Only Class II and III railroads mainline them anymore, and as they get newer power, the same things will happen. 11/20/2009 11:54:37 PM
