BNSF 5842 and 8221  Contributor's Pick!
BNSF C44-9W #5842 and SD75M #8221 roll through Bourbon, MO, with an EB mixed freight. My railfanning rig, a 1985 GMC 3500 (aka the "ONE TON") is to the left. Equipped with the largest engine available, a 230HP 454 CI V-8, the 7FDL16 in the DASH-9 doesn't do much worse on fuel! But reguardless of how much fuel they use, they both GET THE JOB DONE!
