Richard Burdick General not for sure but this is likely Baggage/RPO from the early Denver Zephyr 5/23/2012 4:14:23 PM
Mark Evans General I believe this may be the SILVER POST. I've been grinding thru the Web trying to find a shot of SILVER POST in service...There may be photos of SILVER POST in " Empire Builder/North Coast" consists. These were the largest/longest RPO's in the "Q" Fleet 5/16/2013 5:38:00 PM
dave flood General Bilt in early post-war order (note straight-out rain gutters over doors like TZ dome cars, not wrap-around as later). Chicago-Twin Cities service. Never saw on DZ. TZ never did RPO. Have seen photos on head-end of NP trains leaving Chicago. Interesting since that train already had a RPO-dorm in the consist, which for RPO purposes, was dead-heading to St Paul. 6/27/2014 2:39:40 PM
dave flood General Name of Silver Post sister car was Silver Page. 6/19/2015 12:36:18 AM
