Tales of the past
The L-TWI669 slams the diamond at Granite Falls. The Milwaukee Road was the owner of the tracks to the right, and their searchlight signals still stand today to guard this interlocking. The line is now owned by the TC&W and about 10 minutes before this guy showed up the TC&W 3516 led a train over the diamond, so yes, It is still very much in use.

Jacob Nelson General If I'm trying to remember right, are you at the location where behind you is the gravel pit, or are you in a different location of GF? I've only shot the area once so far, my fiance's parents live in this area 6/6/2009 1:44:14 PM
