Matthew Dittert General Do you know whether at this time Conrail was running Indianapolis-St. Louis trains only on the NYC east of Terre Haute and only on the PRR west of Terre Haute (as CSX does today), or were the NYC west of Terre Haute and the PRR east of Terre Haute still active through routes? 9/9/2009 1:27:23 PM

Larry M. Wilson General Matt Dittert; YES in 1976 the PRR East yard was VERY much in play to move trains via "Main line Davis to Lennox, as was the NYC (North route) west of TH. Preston tower was a busy place because they lined trains for the "Big mistake" which was what was left of the Frankfort main line over to the PRR main. 12/31/2010 9:19:54 PM
