Get a look at this old rusty F7A. It certainly has seen better days. Parked by it are a bunch of Delaware-Lackawanna Alcos.

Ken Roble General Where did they find that old Western Maryland unit? 7/27/2005 4:17:18 PM
Matt Adams General It's NOT a Western Maryland unit. It was Milwaukee 97A. 97A and 97C were sold to the Maryland Midland shortly after they took over the Highfield section of trackage from CSX (they may have been an owner prior to that as well, but I can't remember). This unit (and the 97C) were painted by the Winchester & Western at their Gore, Va. shop, but I *think* the lettering was done by the MMID. They were sold to Steamtown where the 97C got the number 637 (IIRC), and this one, well, rusts. 7/27/2005 8:21:57 PM
Ron Moraca General This unit was burnt out. Can anyone tell me what the disposition of this unit was? 10/5/2007 2:15:51 AM
Bill Kisselstein General Funny how they could move it all of a sudden when the CNY NRHS sold it to a private party. Who, so far as I know still owns it. 1/30/2016 7:06:16 PM
