The Bensenville Yard hump engine consisted of a pair of GP9s sandwiching a TR4B. Milwaukee Road 211 was originally MILW 2414, later MILW 271. Date of photo approximate.

Alan Fricker General I remember when hump power at Bensenville was 2 FM switchers or 2 EMD switchers. By the mid-70s, one or 2 GP9s and a calf unit or two was the standard hump power. Oh well, tht's what cameras and memories are for! 5/20/2009 12:32:08 PM
