Rick Morgan General Fascinating line- thanks for posting. 2/17/2009 9:00:04 AM
Gary Waxler General What a sad sight. :( At least there is photographic history of the line, and not just stories. Thanks for sharing your shots of this line. :) 2/17/2009 8:10:53 PM
Ken Roble General I am really surprised this line hasn't been pulled up by now. The Cotton Belt (SSW) hadn't operated it as a thru route since they purchased it from the Rock Iskand trustees along with the Golden State Route. Only operated the eastern end to Owensville before selling it off. 2/22/2009 12:18:28 AM
Pat Scott General Ken, some of it was pulled ~p a few years ago. OK, so it was some meth heads in Franklin County cutting it up and selling the steel for scrap, but it did get pulled up. God love Missouri. 3/16/2009 11:36:59 PM
Alan Fricker General Thanks for documenting these remnants of the past. It's a sad reminder of what used to be. 5/29/2009 11:04:59 PM
