| A pair of CNW SD40-2s run through Elmira MO in October 1994. 6895 is trailed by 6919. The line between Polo and KC was dual trackage that has passed through a long list of railroads over the years; originally built for RI and the Milwaukee Road, it's also been used by SOO, IMRL, and ICE. At the time of this shot it was run by CNW and CP. As of 2009 it's UP and CP yet again, the later having acquired the ICE in October 2008. |
