NOPB passenger special descends HPL Bridge Editors Pick!
A New Orleans Public Belt Railway passenger special descends the Huey P. Long Bridge on its way back to New Orleans after giving guests views of the Mississippi River. This year, new car LOUISIANA (at rear) has been added. In previous years, only the CITY OF NEW ORLEANS car (coupled to locomotive) was on the train. In this view, new supports for the upcoming widening of the highway lanes of the bridge can be seen below the superstructure.
