SPAX #6558
A three pack of Silverliner IIs rests at the Lansdale station on a train bound for Doylestown. While definitely not the cleanest or most comfortable cars on the SEPTA system (I had the "pleasure" of riding this set from Philly to Lansdale), these old Silverliner IIs are without a doubt the coolest and best-looking ones on the system. With an order of new Silverliner Vs under construction, the Silverliner IIs are probably running on borrowed time; I will certainly miss them when they're gone. This particular car is one of only 17 ex-Reading cars - most of the other ones are of Pennsy heritage.
